“Instructions for Use” is an accurate, systematic, almost archival study.
It is only after having recorded and absorbed these places, apparently without identity, that I pass on to analyze and catalogue how, unconsciously, this space is lived by all the people who cross it, who wait on the thresholds, who rest between one ramp and another and, on the rarest occasions, who meet, talk, argue. and the other and, on the rarest occasions, who meet, talk, argue.
So, compulsively and curiously observing and curious, through the peephole of the door, I rediscovered a space full of life, in continuous mutation. In doing so, the staircase, the landing, the threshold acquire the merit they deserve, or rather the function of glue that creates connections between private and public.
